Project:
Orangefiery logomark concepts, and illustrations for corporate website

Creative Roles:

  • Nicholas Lazar – Graphic Designer
  • Jason Falk – CEO/Creative Director

Project Summary:

Orangefiery, a strategic communications and consulting firm, was seeking to refresh its logo and brand identity. Tank Industries brought me on to the project to concept and illustrate new logo icons with a small creative team. Additionally, the team needed to apply the finalized illustrated solutions to create a suite of illustrations that could be used for the robust company website. All the solutions needed to be scalable to applications beyond the website for future projects.

Constraints:

All illustrated work needed to tie back to the original inspiration of the novel, Ulysses, per client request. The project was done remotely and required diligent communication between team members in different time zones. All presentations of work and collaboration were done through Miro, Figma, and Slack to ensure the creative team was completing work promptly, and documented the full process from moodboard to final assets.

Outcome:

The resulting brand is a unique presentation of Orangefiery’s capabilities and best-in-industry approach to strategic communications. All artwork was hand-drawn and manually converted into vector files to maintain the feel of a personal human perspective. The story of Ulysses inspired the brand to embrace a visual identity rooted in the human experience and how it informs strategic thinking and partnership.
